Connect EUCheckout to your Shopify store in minutes with our step-by-step guide
Before connecting your Shopify store, you need an active EUCheckout account. Signing up is free and takes under a minute.
Visit eucheckout.com and click "Sign Up" in the top navigation.
Enter your email address and create a secure password.
Confirm your email and log in to your new EUCheckout dashboard.
Once logged in, create your first checkout by navigating to the Create Checkout page and filling in all required details — including your Stripe and Shopify API keys.
In your EUCheckout dashboard, click "Create Checkout" from the sidebar.
Fill in your store name, domain, and other basic store information as required.
Log in to your Stripe Dashboard at dashboard.stripe.com and navigate to Developers → API Keys.
Copy your Publishable Key and Secret Key and paste them into the corresponding fields in the Create Checkout form.
Your Shopify Client ID and Client Secret come from the development app you will create in Steps 4 & 5 of this guide.
Also enter your Shopify store domain (e.g. your-store.myshopify.com).
Once all fields are filled in, click "Submit" at the bottom of the form. Your checkout configuration will be saved and ready to connect to Shopify.

Go to Shopify Store Settings → Apps
In your Shopify admin, go to ⚙️ Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps

Navigate to Settings → Apps → Develop apps
Click "Build apps in Dev Dashboard" to access the developer dashboard.

Click "Create app" button.

Name your app EUCheckout and click "Create".

In the APP URL section, paste your URL from the EUCheckout connection window and ensure "Embed app in Shopify admin" is UNCHECKED.

Select the latest Webhooks API version from the dropdown.

Copy the Access Scopes from EUCheckout and paste into Shopify. Leave "Optional scopes" blank.

Add the Redirect URL in the Access section (same as callback URL):

Click "Release" at the bottom right to finalize the setup. Optionally, name this version and confirm.
Once your app is released, you need to retrieve the API credentials and add them to EUCheckout to establish the connection.
In your Shopify dev dashboard, open your app and go to Settings.

Copy your Client ID and Client Secret keys.

Now Provide This Client ID and Secret Key to Complete the Connection. Once key providing is done, Wait for the confirmation. Then install the app. Without confirmation, the app cannot be installed.
Starting in 2026, Shopify requires all new integrations to use the Development App flow with OAuth authentication. This provides better security, reliability, and reduces configuration errors. It's still a straightforward, no-code process.
EUCheckout requires an active Shopify store with a valid .myshopify domain. If you don't have a Shopify account, you'll need to create one first. Development mode stores won't work.
We only request the minimum permissions needed to provide our service. All data is encrypted and secure. If you disconnect EUCheckout, your data will be promptly removed from our databases upon confirmation. Our system will prevent connection if you accidentally grant more permissions than required.
